To Whom It May Concern,
Put Tools In Schools has been an amazing program that has really helped the middle school students in our after-school program. My name is Ebony, and I’m an intern with Center360. Since Mr. Ray started working with our students, he’s been a great addition to our programming. Before he came in, most of our students knew little to nothing about the trades. Now, they’re familiar with so many different career opportunities that they never even knew existed.
What’s really great about Put Tools In Schools is that while it’s educational, the students actually enjoy learning about the trades. They’ve told us how eye-opening it’s been and how they had no idea these kinds of careers were even an option for them. Every week, they look forward to learning how to use tools, exploring new career paths, and thinking about their futures in a way they hadn’t before.
Mr. Ray does a great job of connecting with our students and meeting them where they are. He helps fill in the gaps that schools don’t always cover and gives our students the kind of hands-on learning that sticks with them. It’s been awesome seeing them get excited about learning new skills and realizing that they have more options for their future than they thought.
I truly appreciate what Put Tools In Schools and Mr. Ray bring to our program, and I highly recommend them. They’re making a real impact, and I know they’ll continue to help students in so many ways.
Sincerely,
Ebony Grayson
